I’m Counting on My Fingers…
I’m counting on my fingers the number of ways that you can keep in touch with me, that is! I’ve been updating and making a lot of changes to my site and I really hope that you will be enjoying the changes that I have made – because they are all on your behalf!
So, let’s start counting on my fingers (figuratively, at least, because I am sure you really don’t want to watch my start counting on my fingers for real – that might get a little boring, but wait a minute – hmmm, ya’ll watching me count on my fingers. Maybe that wouldn’t be so boring after all. Maybe one of us might learn something, and that might be me, right?
1) well, I have an RSS reader at the very top right hand side of the site. There are two of them, actually, side by side. The one on the left is the one you want. If you click on it and follow the directions (there are several different ways you can get the reader depending on what type of service you have). The button on the right is for the comments, if you would like to subscribe to that service.
2) moving on down the site: on the right side, the very first box you see is my subscribe box. It’s the one with the heading $aving$$ and the button reads BUILD. If you decide that you want to subscribe to my newsletter, what you actually get is much more. You get several days worth of free money savings tips in your email spread out over several days.
3) moving on down: just below the BUILD box is Subscribe in your email box. This is the same feature as the RSS at the top of the site, only you are getting it in smaller doses, and it comes straight to your email box.
4) moving on down: just below the email feature on the the left side is a box that reads something to the effect of “….desktop – OFFLINE” This is a nifty little widget. This little box can be downloaded straight to your computer (or just about anywhere else for that matter) and you can get all of my updates – just like the other RSS readers, only with this handy little guy, as long as you are connected to the Internet, you can close your browsers and still get all the updates. Kind of neat, huh??
So, those features fit on one hand (kind of nifty?), but I have some other things to tell you about on the other hand.
Here are some other features that I have added to the site that are not about keeping up with me, but are neat, one and the same:
1) I have added a print feature – so, if you would like to print out the quotes that I have been featuring, or even better, the money advice that I have been giving away daily, this would be a great place to try it out!
2) I have added a “quote” feature to the comment section. Anytime you would like to stop by to leave a comment and you want to be sure that what you said was in quotes, you have the ability to do that now!
Here are some features that are coming soon:
1) I am adding a quotes collection very, very soon. I add quotes to the site on a daily basis and will be putting them in a collection very soon.
2) I am adding a glossary – pretty exhaustive – soon. The words will have their own links back to the glossary.
3) I am adding my resources page soon as well. I already have two free ebooks available and more books and other material will be available soon.
