Top 10 Coupon and Deal Sites
As I was reading over my RSS subscriptions the other day, I came across an article that had the following list in it, as compiled by Compete.com:
Compete’s recently released list of the top 10 Coupon and Deal sites
I thought it might be helpful to my readers if I gathered some information about each site and shared it here for you, as the next time you go shopping, you might save some money.
Coupons.com
Using Coupons.com is simple. You scan through the gallery of coupons they have available and pick the ones that you want. Once you have decided, then you print them out. You must use their printing software – but don’t worry, it’s free to use and free of viruses and other bugs. The reason you need to use their printer is because it is coded for printing coupons (or so they say) and you should have no problems with the coupons once you go to use them at the store. The site also says they do not use popups and will not spam you.
Eversave.com
Eversave.com offers coupons, discounts, free trials and samples. It is a site that offers coupons and discounts on many different categories including auto, clothing and accessories, home and garden, pets, and travel. This list is by all means not all inclusive. This site is also community based, meaning that you can register to be part of the site and submit articles, and also find games, advice and other entertainment.
Retailmenot.com
Retailmenot.com offers online code coupons and online discount codes. These are different from regular coupons in that you do not take them into the store; instead, you use them at checkout time when you are purchasing items online. Bookmark a site like this to come back to in order to look for discounts for when you are checking out. More often than not, you can find a code saving you money when you check out. Retailmenot.com also offers lots more goodies – it’s a community based site meaning you can join and share information, you can get paid to share any codes you find on their forum, and they have several gadgets and widgets to help you find those elusive codes.
Coolsavings.com
Coolsavings.com focuses on grocery coupons, but they also have other savings as well. You can print out the grocery coupons, you can find online coupons, you can find free stuff, you can find recipes and of course they have a community you can join if you register.
CouponMountain.com
CouponMountain.com focuses on serving customers through coupon codes and promotional offers for over 2,000 online stores. If you create an account with their service, they will notify you of upcoming promotions and discounts. The site also offers printable grocery coupons, and you will need to use their grocery printer software.
Couponcabin.com
CouponCabin.com offers both online codes and printable grocery coupons. The site offers online codes for over 1,200 online stores. You can create an account with the site and receive their newsletter every Monday with an updated list of that week’s pick of codes.
FatWallet.com
FatWallet.com has online coupon codes, deal forums where members help other members and cash back shopping. This is their main difference from other coupon sites. I have used this site myself and have been quite pleased with the result, as I used it in conjunction with another promotion from another site. The way cash back shopping works is you join the site, you make a cash back purchase, your cash back is pending until they notify you, your cash back becomes available when they notify you, and then you can receive payment via check or PayPal.
SlickDeals.net
SlickDeals.net is all about finding great deals and online coupon codes for online stores all over the internet. It is community driven by users who post items. They also offer a forum for their community.
SmartSource.com
SmartSource.com has tons of printable grocery coupons and again you need to use their software in order to print your coupons. They also offer email alerts if you subscribe to their newsletter. You can search grocery circulars, find online deals, and enter in your zip code to find local deals.
CouponMom.com
CouponMom.com offers printable grocery coupons and free samples. The site also offers online coupon codes and has a forum. A couple of unique items about this site: 1) it teaches its readers how to use coupons – she has an eBook that details exactly what to do with coupons – where to get them, when to use them, etc. and 2) she asks that you take the coupons you do not use and donate them to feed the hungry. She states that this is the purpose behind her site. As you can see, there are lots of sites out there that can help save you money when you go shopping. I hope that you have bookmarked this list and that it helps you next time you decide you need to save money. To Your Money Pile, Andrea LaGrow Andrea@TheMoneyPile Twitter.com/TheMoneyPile
