The Money Pile is a blog aimed at those interested in saving money.
You will find:
- a quick, simple tip, usually daily on how to save money. This tip will usually feed over from my Twitter account, which is why it is so quick (you are only allowed 140 characters over there!). The tip will always be something you can implement right away, or an idea that you can file away for use later.
- a quote from some inspired leaders, usually in the financial world, but sometimes in other fields. You will normally find this quote daily. These quotes are put there to get you to think about your money in different ways – hopefully for the better!
- a collection of these quotes
- a glossary of terms used on this blog that users may or may not be familiar with

Who is Andrea LaGrow and why should you listen to her?
Andrea LaGrow is an ordinary person leading an ordinary life. You can read her Life story published in blog pages so you can get to know her better. Long story short, she is someone who messed up her credit not once, but twice and lived to tell the tale. She has never had to go into bankruptcy (thank the Lord!) but coming close has led her into wanting to help people just like her who have had trouble with money. The current crisis with the economy only makes her want to help out even more. She has read countless books and articles and wants to help you build up your money pile today. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in psychology and feels that this degree helps her in feeling people’s pain, especially since she feels she’s “been there.” But, there is hope on the other side and she is living proof.
